He has worked in a wide variety of treatment settings throughout his training and career, using a multi-disciplinary and holistic approach along with evidence-based treatments.<\/p>\n<p>In the spirit of a holistic approach, the center of Dr. Desai\u2019s treatment plan centers upon the therapeutic alliance in which he makes an effort to understand the needs of not only the patient but the entire family unit. He believes in open, honest communication along with providing patients and families the time they need in order to fully understand and comprehend the challenges they face. He is passionate about empowering patients and families with knowledge, education, resources and creating a treatment plan using both pharmacological and non-pharmacological intervention to help his patients reach their goals.
