University of Wisconsin-Madison
My children, ages 6 and 8 (in Kindergarten and second grades this year), have their last day of school June 1 and the day camp they were going to attend starting June 4 closed with little warning. We are without day camp care June 4-8. I am looking for someone to watch them those days, or June 5-8, in my home. I work from home, so it would be great if the interested party could take them to the park or even drive them elsewhere for part of the day, but we can make it work if you do not have a car. There is a park directly across the street from our home and Elver Park is a fairly short walk from our home as well. The children are well behaved and polite yet fun and energetic. The 6 year old is a girl who loves dirt, bugs, climbing trees and playing with dolls. The 8 year old is a boy who is not as keen to spend time outside but likes to ride his bicycle, draw, do art, and play video games.
Ideally, someone who enjoys children and has experience working with school aged children will respond. Please provide a resume of relevant experience/interests.
My husband and I are both UW graduates; he has a BA in human resources and management, I have a BA in psychology and an MS in social work.
