Job description include; \u00a0 \u2022Assist and receive donated goods from the donors by helping unload cars & carrying donations in a safe manner. \u2022Collect and bag\/box all donations brought in. \u2022Organize donations as they are brought in, utilizing space available. \u2022Provide receipts to donors. \u2022Maintain accurate donation records of total donors on a daily and weekly basis. \u2022Assist truck drivers, to the best of your ability, when loading and unloading donations. \u2022 Collect donations from Donation Drop off Box as necessary. \u2022Follow cleaning procedures as assigned. Safety: \u2022Ability to pay close attention to his\/her surroundings and alert management to any situation that seems dangerous and\/or suspicious. \u2022Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and complying with all state and federal safety and health regulations as well as company safety policy and procedures. \u2022Responsible for learning and executing all Consumer Product Safety Commission recalls. \u2022Responsible for safe handling and usage of blue tubs. \u2022Responsible for knowing the location of, how to read, and understand the Safety Data Sheets. \u2022Reports any accidents\/incidents and unsafe conditions to the store manager(s) and assists with completing appropriate reports. \u2022Attends monthly safety meetings.Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Qualifications Critical Skills: \u2022 Must be able to work independently in a store team environment. \u2022 Academic preparation preferably at high school level or GED. \u2022 Some retail experience preferred. \u2022 Must be 16 years of age or older, have command of the English language sufficient to communicate with customers, co-workers, and supervisors. \u2022 Must possess strong interpersonal skills with customers and employees. \u2022 Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stoop, squat, bend and twist, reach for extended periods of time; push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds in a safe manner. \u2022 Must have a desire to work with rehabilitation consumers, employees, and the public. \u2022 Must be reliable and dependable. \u2022 Must be able to pass alcohol\/drug screening.
