Under supervision of an Assistant Golf Professional the Range Picker is responsible for protecting and maintaining the appearance of the golf course. This position regularly operates a Range Picker to perform job duties. This position may also be assigned a variety of duties in guest services and the daily operation of the Pro Shop and golf course.
Must be 16 years of age or older with some High School. Previous experience working in golf course operations is preferred. Customer service experience a plus. This position may be drive a motor vehicle to various District facilities and events. If driving on District business, must possess a valid Colorado Driver License or have and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be highly motivated and take direction well. Must process knowledge of golf and golf leagues. Must process ability to communicate effectively. Knowledge of: all aspects of a golf course operations; emergency first-aid procedures, basic principles of customer service. The ability to successfully: work productively without supervision within established organizational values, policies and procedures; provide superior customer service and successfully interact with coworkers, customers, and supervisors while managing multiple customers; handle cash flow with accuracy and proper handling in adherence to established procedures. Skilled in: training, communications, and the use of a computer and related golf equipment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
A combination of education and experience may be considered. The ability to successfully complete a background check including and not limited to criminal history search and/or after the advertised close date.
